I think most everyone has seen this car by now. It's good to see Scion continue with the RS theme on the xD, but personally, I wish they had done something a little more with the exterior. A modest body kit would have really set it off nicely. The color is fine IMO, and the electronic and other features are noteworthy. Maybe the extra cost of a custom bodykit was just to much to incorporate into this model.
I believe most of us with RS1's are probably disappointed with it, and are feeling lucky to have scored the way we did. I know I am. The good news is these cars do come with some very cool features and begin life with a nice head start!
I said it on Scikotics. Not impressed with the additional stuff for the price difference. Additional $1200-$1300 more for a new color (granted limited addition), non fancy WHITE lighted door sills (nice green color at least would have been nice, the standard Scion 4 in 1 lighting (no special color, but does have green), and a radio that is MSRP $850, and silver interior accenting. The spoiler is not stock (extra cost) and no special wheels and no body kit. Only thing real special about it is the color but to me not $1300 special.
I'm not impressed by it either.
I always thought you RS1 guys got a helluva deal for what little extra you paid. The RS2 doesn't come with enough valued extras to make it comparable.
I agree with you guys. Not enough to justify the extra cost.
I do, however, love the color. I also said (on Scikotics) that I think if you did it with a matte medium blue, it would look sweeeeet! I love the idea of silver accenting.
The thing that irritates me the most about RS's is that they don't seem to come with rims anymore. The tC's? Ballin'. I don't even think the xB's have 'em do they? I know the RS 5 xB offered the alloys as an add-on. But yeah, if you're going to do an RS, do it right. (Says the non-car expert! haha)

i seen this in person at a dealer... wasn't impressed.. and SciFion, your right, us RS1 drivers are privalage to have a one of a kind release series..
The color was alright to say the least.. but lack of interior ammenities to make it stand out as a release series was zero.. it was just like a normal xD but except for the pioneer F series radio/nav...
I finally saw one in person. I like the color, but they dropped the ball by not at least carrying the color onto the interior pieces as they did with the RS 1. The spoiler is a must have. I think with a drop and some nice rims the car could be real nice.
