Not very often I get to do this, but Scion Corperate brought out a few cars for the St Helens cruise today, so I took advantage of it and got some xD pics...
The RS1, my car, is on Tein S-Techs, and both the RS2 and RS3 are coorperate cars, they are on TRD lowering springs. The RS2 has a FiveAxis front lip, which makes it look lower than the RS3.
I figured it would be on TRD Springs because of that reason also, but it didn't hear to ask just to be sure.
I was just wondering because I just bought those exact same wheels for my xD, which also has the Five Axis lip kit, and I was worried that if I went any lower then TRD Springs it would cause to many rubbing issues or not enough ground clearance with the lip kit on due to the crappy roads here in PA.
I would love to get some stechs like you are running, but I'm just concerned about the rubbing/ground clearance issue.
I don't have any rubbing issues as of yet. I'm running 225-45-17's and I've heard others say that they have had issues with rubbing with that size of tire, but that was with people in the back seat and I rarely have anyone back there. I do try to take it easy over speed bumps, and into steeper driveways just to be careful. I've driven down some pretty bad roads here in WA, just have to be cautious.
The RS2 looks amazing lowered with the 5 axis fron airdam setup. That should have been how the car should have been released. With it lowered and a front/rear/running board kit.
