Painting/Tinting Tail Lights and Mirror Turn Signals (PICS)
Tomorrow morning I'm headed over to Randy's (Randode's) house for a tail light painting/tinting party...I'm also going to do the same thing with the mirror turn signals...The work is being done by Just1n of Precision Werks, the same one who has done all my other paint work...Here is the before pics of the items removed: I will post more when I put them back on after they are finished...
Oops, I can't believe I did not update this thread with the pics yet...Sorry Anyways, Just1n from Precision Werks hit them with several coats of Candy Smoke first and then w he put (2) light coats of Hot Lava paint over the top of the smoke...You can see the orange flake at certain angles, looks pretty cool and better in person...I have to take better pics when my car is clean (it had rained like crazy here in AZ) and out in the sun but these pics will have to do for now...
Yes I have washed the car and they held up fine...These were done professionally so they will hold up...Today I went over to Randy's and we color sanded them with 1500 grit sand paper and then hit them with some compound and a buffer...After that we waxed them and they turned out incredible! Here are some pics taken this afternoon...

And a couple with the headlights/running lights on:
Turn Signals...We did not color sand or buff these...We may do it down the road;
a murdered white car is a panda... not murdered... only black cars get the murdered treatment...
and thread jack, shoulda gone darker.
edit: should do the bottom rear reflectors too..
and as for the hold up.. if you have a body shop and someone who knows what they are doing (key) the paint job will be the same as what is on your car... the paint aint going anywhere.
