^You are correct on the tire size for 18" wheels. I own and operate my own business(shameless plug) and i can tell you that the "safe recommended size" is 225/40/18. The 17" "recommended" size is 205/50/17 if you want to keep the correct rolling circumference to match the 195/60/16 factory tire size. I am personally going with a 225/45/17 due to the track width and overall circumference, it will match the 205/50/17 within specs.
