Default No High Beam Indicator after install HID
I was bothered by the high beam indicator not illuminating after installing a HID kit. I searched all over to find the fix but noplace did I find one. E-bay sells a Fix Module for 20 bucks and 8 bucks shipping. I was not going to spend that much, figuring the fix might just cost a few bucks. Well, after 2 days of hunting for wiring diagrams and reading about how the Toyota light circuit worked, I got the fix !!! the super Simple fix is shown below. Mine now works fine. All it takes is one resistor connected to the Low Beam Circiut and the other end to 12v. Cost to do could be as low as 50 Cents!

hmmmm.... must depend on the HID kit you get. My high beam indicator works fine with my HID's but my kit does have a separate high beam bulb. I never need my high beams anymore though.
Nice fix though, love the small technical tweaks to improve things.

Yea my indicator worked when I installed the hids. Wonder why your kit caused it to not work...

Default Hmmm....
Could it be because I have installed Bi-Xenons? I have Xenon Hi and Xenon Low, and no Halogen bulb in the housing. The bulb's low beam fillament actually fed the power to the hb indicator led (when th low was not illuminated)

there are a whole bunch of ther Toyota guys that have the same prob due to the way Toyota's system is a ground start circuit.

Maybe your harness that was supplied changed how the power went back to the hb indicator led.

E-bays solution for 28 bucks gave me a shiver . . . . .
