Well, I don't go to the all-model events with the idea of winning anything - it's just an opportunity to display the car to the public. That's still a lot of fun. It's only at the Scion shows that I like to actually compete...
Anyway, I just got back from the York VoTech show, it was a beautiful, sunny day with a cloudless sky, temps in the mid 60's. Nice enough that my face and lips got some sunburn, lol! Of course, I didn't win anything; my car was in the Sport Compact division with about 30 cars in it, some Pontiac all done up for show-only display won the trophy. Big wing, rainbow-glitter custom paint job, the works. That's typical in these kind of shows, I could never compete with my daily-driver xD...
My car did get a lot of attention, though, especially the Cylon engine cover. A lot of people were gawking at and snapping photos of your artwork, Ted, you'd be proud!
