Default Does Anyone have pics of...
225/50/17's on their XD?

I would love to see them. Especially at ground level from the front and the back.

I think this is the combo I am going with as soon as I get the cash.

Thanks in Advance

That would be great. I am curious what the width looks like from in front and behind.

Thanks!

**/50/** and higher makes your car look more "4x4" imo lol .. planin of slamming mines without rubbing and hopefully with the higher profile will cause it to make it a smoother ride

Does the tire almost poke to the fender? I don't want the tire to be "in" the fenders. Ii got 205s nd they look as if they are 10mm off

they are withing the wheel well. but just barely, any wider and they wouldn't fit. i can't lower the suspension anymore than it is or i'll rub like crazy.. as it is right now.. i only rub when the car is weighed down and if i hit a bump or dip, and if i turn really hard either way

Running 225/45/17's, really close to the stock tires as far as your speedo goes. I may look into spacers for the rear, but that will be after I get different springs.

Thanks for the pics. I read your description. Are you running on stock springs? Is your combo stock wheel/tire height? I might have to go to 215's because of the family riding with me.

Again thanks for the pics.

Thanks for the pics. Do you have any issues with rubbing?

No rubbing issues here, running TRD springs, about 1.5" lower than stock.

I don't have any wheels yet. I think I'll go with the American Racing Casino Black 17x7.

no probs. i was curious wasn't sure if i just missed you mentioning the rim width or it wasn't posted earlier. cool, as for me i had to go 205's so that i don't have any rubbing issues with the lowered xd.
