Default xD ipod connector
Hello everyone, my first post

where can i find the ipod connector cable for my scion xD? or where can i buy one? seem to have lost it. also i dont know if its compatible with my ipod touch 2g

You can try the dealer or something like RadioShack.

you wont find it at Radioshack...

dealer is the best way to get one, its called an Ipod connector cable...

I also answered this over on SL. TRD Sparks has it for $56.97. Look under 2008 xD... doesn't show up under 2009 models on their site. That's about $20 less than a dealership.

no problem, if you want to go the cheap route you can pick up an auxiliary cable at radioshack for about $5. its a phono jack that has the same male connector on each side it... but you will not have control of the ipod from the headunit, nor will you be able to see the title etc... meaning you will have to use the IPood to control/see what you are playing...

so what ipods are compatible with such?? tdrsparks has the cheapest around, so i guess il order from them 60$ cable, sheesh it shouldve been a usb connector instead

if it was like the usb connector tho...like littledeviant said, you still wouldn't be able to see titles/artists/songs on your head unit or be able to control the ipod from the steering wheel...buy the cable!

Actually you would, the 2010 models have USB connectors and are 100% compatible
