Well Kory, Im not 100% sure on the specs...I went back and did some research...Im pretty sure his rears are 18x9.5 and a 35 offset...I think he's running a 225/40/18 tire...I know before he put the camber shims on and the coilovers, he had rubbing problems and messed his fenders up...His ride sure looks sick!
Even if he went with smaller rubber and no camber I still think he would have still had rubbing issues with that set up...I am only running 18x8 with a 35 offset on 225/40/18...His rim was 1.5 inches wider than mine...I had to grind the inner fender lip pretty much all the way down...With my set up, I could have run a smaller tire, stretched with a 205/40/18 and probably would have been good...
Grinding the inner fender lip down was really no big deal...Just remember to stop with about an 1/8th of an inch of the lip left...Also be sure that you don't leave any burs or sharp edges...When your done, just use the the touch up paint pen from the dealership and go around what you just grinded down...It's all on the inside anyways and you can't see anything...The touch up paint is just used to prevent any rust but I'm really not too worried about it...I guess you could always find someone to roll your fender, I just didn't want any issues with the paint cracking...
ya planning on smaller rubber .and working on going wider on the rim also 10 maybe 10.5. even with the camber i still rub i dont think smaller tire will help but just a little bit with the wheel set up im using

thanks for the input. well i'm lucky the 9's been good and not a tad of rubbing even with heavy loads and hitting some big dips on the freeway. only trouble i've gotten into is bottoming out on bumps and little hills. my poor exhaust and frame got some damage. =(
