Default Short ram or cold air?
Well title says it all, list good brands with model names of each, that would fit my 2012 XD please and what's diff between them both?

Cai- its longer. more power at higher speed

They're all the same. A coupler, a pipe, and a filter

^^^ pretty much make your own with a cone filter and some piping from auto part store. the big companies have there name and possible actual testing but none of them make any huge gains. So to me I just went my own route.

Granted it's just a tube with a filter, aren't the name brand ones carb legal? Also, aem only lists that theirs fir 08-11, is there a fitment issue with the 12+?
