Default Front Grille
Just got a new XD an am loving it! Looking for a nice front bumper grille kit. I have bought them off ebay before for my old integra and it turned black and looked awful. If anyone has any recomendations I would really appreciate it!!

I really love my B-Cool grills, they are probably one of the most heavy-duty sets available for the xD... about $200 for just the set of two, though - no grills for the two small bumper scoops...

Awesome! gotta love that NBM...!!

I had originally ordered a black 5-speed xD from my dealer, then a few days later they got an NBM one on the lot (in automatic, bleah)... I liked the blue way better, so I had them change my order for a 5-speed NBM... glad I did!

To install billets on the xD, you have to remove the front bumper facia completely, about 8 screws and 8 plastic pushpins - The top Billet mounts right over top of the existing grill, two studs through to the back side held on with big flat plate nuts; the bottom grill installs in place of the original grill, and requires drilling 4 holes into the lip of the grill recess to mount it.

I don't have anything in the bumper scoops (or whatever they call them!), thought about getting some fogs from TRDSparks for in those...

Do you still have the back and forth red light in there?

Yup, it's part of my Cylon theme, so they're still there and still working - and suprisingly, none of the bulbs have burned out yet (they're incandescent bulbs, not LED)...

Not really, I've had my front bumper off 4 times already, takes about 15 minutes to remove it, tops... and drilling four holes through thin plastic? Piece of cake. But now that I've lowered the car, getting to the 8 screws underneath is a little bit tougher with the tighter clearance, lol..

I hear that. I want to do a few things, but it's not like I'm modding an old car where it doesn't really matter if I screw up.

Scions are like SnapTite model cars. The just pull apart and pop together with ease. 98 percent of the bolts on a scion are 10mm. It is not hard to pop the front bumper off. hell I am missing half of my bolts under the bumper becuase I have taken it off so many times and it still holds on.
