Default Cold Air Intake
Hey guys I live where it snows a lot and Im looking to get a cold air intake and not spend a fortune. I also don't want to get water lock due to the fact that most CAI filters go into the wheel well area. Anyone have any suggestions as to what I should get?? Thanks guys!

build one yourself in an hour or so and about $50 at Autozone. I did mine that way. just buy the tubing, connectors and filter. there is a write up on here.

When you build it with the Autozone parts, does it cause a check engine light. What did you do with the airflow sensor?

I went the easy way just took off the air box, threw on a 3 1/2 inch spectre filter, and had my buddy fab a little mounting bracket coming off the battery. SRI is easier and cheaper.

I agree. The Autozone method is the easiest way and cheapest as well. I have done this method and it sounds great. I feel like there is a noticeable increase in the acceleration response, but this may be in my head because it sounds fast.
