Default Received: Eibach Sportlines
Manufacturer states an expected drop of 1.7" front, 1.4" rear, so after settling should be a tad more than that.

Finally decided on these over the more expensive coilover route for my needs. S-Techs too soft in my experience, Prokits and TRD not low enough for me, Tanabe too soft.

2nd choice was H&R (1.4" front, 1.3" rear) but those springs are still in development last I checked, also I wanted a lower drop.

I know a lot of xd owners, for cosmetic reasons, wanted an even drop on front and rear. I wanted the best of both worlds (performance and aesthetics) as a lower front end will help counter understeer, per the tim skelton website. I plan to ride on these until the shocks go out, which, at a planned average of 6000 miles annually, should take awhile . Only then will i consider changing out the shocks.

On a side note, I love the steelies look and have my 7-spoke wheel covers for sale. They are clean from my 2011! Less than 500 mile driven on and I drive like a hypermiler.

Next on the mod list: tint and eyelids (already purchased from bluebat for $25, highly recommend). I also plan on running 205/55/16 performance tires when the factory B'stones wear down. 16" wheels are down the road as well.

-ciao

good to hear, let us know what you think about them. I'm still running stock but I want to drop. I think I just might wait till next year and just bag it. As for the eyelids I thought about them as well but I think I just might bake open and paint mine.

I'm curious too. These are on my short list for whenever the planets align next.

Hold up what cost you $25? The eyelids or the tint?

Sportlines are on! nice drop no regrets so far. Wanna wait till it settles and see how it goes. I think for some reason the left side is LOWER than the right. Is that possible? what could be the issue? The ride is still quiet. Over bumps stiffness is noticeable without being uncomfortable and NONE of that bounciness found in S-Techs. =)
Visually, the front is lower, but just a little more than the rear. It's one finger gap for the front.

I have Eibach Sportlines I bought but then two days later bought coilovers form a member here. Anyways the store wants a 25% restocking fee and I think thats BS. So Im offering them to anyone for 150 + shipping. They are regualrly $230 In a few days i will return them if no one wants them. Sorry for the hijack but I cant post in the classifieds. And I want to offer this deal to the community!

^^ wow wish you had 'em sooner. i paid $200+

anyways, no pics, but i am fully satisfied with the sportlines!
1. no bouncy ride or bottoming out! Feels stiffer than stock but still comfy.

2. the rear does NOT sit lower than the front; in fact the front is lower!

3. on stock 16s now but clearing 18's will NOT be an issue!

4. Wheel gap is VERY slight, IMO a perfect look if you don't want to be completely slammed/pay $$$$ for coilovers.

So far been on Sportlines for 1000 miles and I have no regrets. purchased from eBay.

Manufacturer states the drop is 1.7" front and 1.4" rear. After settling, I visually estimate a drop of 1.9-2.1" front and 1.6-1.8" rear.

Glad to hear you like them. One of the things that appeals to me the most about the Sportlines is the fact that they lower the front more than the rear. Most other springs are for the Yaris which is lighter in the back than the xD and therefore cause more drop in the rear then the front. Not a big fan of the bow high look personally. Makes me think of Florida retirees in Cadillacs with trunks full of golf clubs.

just ordered the Eibach alignment kit from TR to to adjust camber. About 1300 miles after spring install and still haven't done alignment. gonna do a custom one with these possible specs:

front camber: -1.5
rear camber: 0

front toe: -.01
rear toe: 0 or +__?

front caster: max +

front tire PSI: max on OEM Bstone Turanza's say 44.
rear tire PSI: about 3 less than the fronts

I don't know how much of these specs can be achieved, but I'll generally follow the recommendations from the tim skelton website on "correcting understeer". we'll see where that takes me.

anyone else use a different alignment kit on their XD that can post impressions? advice?

Down the road ie. when/if my shocks blow, i'll look into Tokico blues.

Update: Sportlines and OEM shocks/struts still going strong, although I have only 7000 miles on the odometer thus far. The settled drop is absolutely the perfect look I have been looking for.
