yes you can not install the R/S portion and still have a functional alarm. but why? Manual? leave the car in neutral and bypass it...

and viper (DEI owned, they own the tope 5 brands) is not the only company with two way. autopage also does and any joe-blow brand will have it too, its not THAT special of a feature, its just a radio transmission....


no alarm will come with a glass break sensor, but they will have a shock sensor... breaking glass would be a shock to the car, but there are sensors specific to monitor glass break.

all alarms will have kill switches, 90% of the time it doesnt get installed tho.

get a tilt sensor instead of a shock sensor if you want additional sensing, most people can lift a car/ tilt it without "shock"ing it... to get rims or something.
