Black Sand Pearl Spoiler/Sharkfin Antenna on a Super White?

Hey guys,

Lately I've been toying with the idea of getting one of the OEM spoilers and a Sharkfin antenna for my Super White xD. Now a thought had popped into my thick skull about possibly purchasing them in Black Sand Pearl instead of Super White. I have black wheels, black vinyl on the front and rear bumper, and smoked tails, so I think that this combination may look kind of cool. I also saw XDLOL's and B1GP1MP1N's cars which had the spoiler in Black Sand Pearl with a CF hood and I thought it flowed nicely.

I know everyone always says to do what you like, but I would still like to get some opinions on this idea before I shell out the cash for these things.

Thanks!

I think you could get it to work. As long as you have the right balance of black and white it should look good. Post pics if you do!

If I had any photoshop skills at all I would mess around with it in there to actually see it, lol.

I've had the same thought for my ride. In general I think it would look good. If I had the skills I'd Photoshop it too to try and get a preview before I did it.

I went for it last night and ordered a BSP spoiler off of eBay. Going to see how that turns out first before buying the shark fin antenna.

Shouldn't look bad at all..as long as people can tell that is black paint and not primer you should be good to go.

I'm going to be ordering my antenna from visualgarage today but I sent them an email last night asking if the 2009 antenna will work on a 2010 since they didn't have an option for it. I'm going to assume that a 2009 will work on a 2010 since the car really hasn't changed any but the reply they sent me was very ambiguous... so is there anyone with a 2010 that has used there 2009 model before I buy it?

I dont think it would matter. That section of the xD hasn't changed since year 1 back in 2008

Figured so, but just wanted to make sure anyway. I've never really looked at the stock antennas from different model years, heh.
