Light Mods/Paint Advice

1 Attachment(s)
Whats up, I'm real new to this forum as well as my scion xD. (2011)

I recently had a friend of mine paint my emblems flat black and as awesome as they came out her taped off the car instead of taking off the emblems and like an idiot as this like almost overspray and theres drip dots.

ANY advice on removing JUST the spray paint? (my friend is an idiot)

Also i want to put in light on those lower spots under the head lights
(Attached Image)
Best way to do so and best lights to use??

Id like to do more to my car, i plan on new wheels and wing.
Any advice or options is a appreciated.

Hi MadTitan. I used Meguiar's Clay in the past to remove paint overspray, it worked OK. If that does not help, you can try rubbing compound, I like 3M Rubbing Compound, but be careful with it, it can remove original paint as well.

The only way to put lights there is to do a custom route. Most people just go to autozone and get the lights and drill a hole in the plastic piece and wire to the head lights.
I did a custom plate and place a light in the way back instead.

Like said above clay will be your best bet. As for the lights you can do it yourself or send them to a custom shop...expect to pay around $200-$300 for the work.

I have two buddies of mine and we did custom lights. I got the Phillips LED 4's. Around $100. Take bumper off, remove plastic inserts, run wiring through them to the battery/headlights, nail them to the inner part of the opening, and voila. Here's what they look like on my xDhttps://scontent.xx.fbcdn.net/hphoto...3d&oe=55A44130

*These lights turn off when headlights are on. I read after mine were installed (sadly....) That there are some that have an integrated dim feature, and turn signals built in, but they still look pretty sweet during the day, I must say.**
