Scion Fuse

If Scion was selling this car right now, would you trade in your xD? >http://www.scion.com/#conceptCars_fuse
I just might, maybe if it was a Release Series version- Light the Fuse!

gotDAMD 07-08-2009 12:33 AM

Prob not. I traded a S/C tC for the D.

TheLittleDeviant 07-08-2009 03:19 PM

I hear that scion will be using a lot of styling ques from the fuse when they replace the tC... which will be sooner than most people think...

Shaggy 07-10-2009 01:54 AM

I think the concpet looks pretty bad ass, but you can never really go off the concept cars to what they will look like in production. So we will see how sweet they look when/if they go to production.

If you click on the link and check out all the unique features on the car, you'll see some very cool stuff. If the car they make is fairly similar to what's shown, and a release series is available, I will more than likely line up for one!

Lois would have a fit if u got another new car before her!.

I would never trade my car in. 2 door isnt very family friendly and i love my xD

I saw the Fuse up close at the Scion at South Beach event, very cool, I'd drive it, but wouldn't give up my D for it.

SciFion 07-12-2009 02:46 PM

I think I would. Like I said if it was a Release Series and had some of the stuff shown, and maybe a supercharger, a "blown fuse" :signs6: I'd be seriously tempted to trade..

CXTKRS1 07-28-2009 10:38 PM

Specs on the engine?

SnuGG 07-30-2009 08:44 AM

I'd get the RS1 if it ever came out... but we'll see.

TheLittleDeviant 07-30-2009 11:00 AM

well from what I understand, 09 will be the last year of the tC... which means the replacement car will be released in 2010 as a 2011 model...

The only thing I could gather from the video was that it would be intercooled. Makes you wonder. With fuel economy in everyones mind right now, who knows what this car will come with engine wise, or what the appearance of the car will really look like.

I think that a supercharger option would be really hot for this car, and hope that most of the interior gadgetry makes it into production. All that stuff is very futuristic!

Here's another link from scionlife.com to the Fuse with more pics.> http://www.scionlife.com/scion/fuse/

I love concept car looks. Just wish one of these days they would make a production car look exactly like the concept car. ;)

SciFion 08-02-2009 11:39 PM

I agree. But even if they only put most of the stuff they are showing on the Fuse it will be a cool car.

Shaggy 08-02-2009 11:41 PM

Yea, that is true.

zereaux 08-03-2009 09:57 AM

i saw this car in person when i was in miami, i wasnt that impressed with it... it looks cool, but i wouldnt buy one...

TheLittleDeviant 08-03-2009 10:29 AM

Flipper 04-01-2010 08:39 PM

i'm surprised they didn't borrow the front clip from the Fuse. I guess there alot of extra Magnum parts laying around

some GTR rear quarters
